00:01.170 00:02.020 Boss?
00:02.020 00:03.440 At your service.
00:03.440 00:06.490 Oh, hello. Nice to meet you.
00:06.490 00:08.400 You talked!
00:09.010 00:11.490 Huh? Does he usually not talk so much?
00:11.490 00:13.220 This is the first time I've heard him speak!
00:13.220 00:16.390 How?! Wait, could you talk all along?!
00:17.720 00:21.750 What is your name? What would you like to see?
00:23.240 00:28.590 M-My name is Bag. I'd like to see the library.
00:28.590 00:32.940 Understood. I will search for a route to the library.
00:32.940 00:36.890 But first, I will tell you about Japari Park.
00:37.240 00:42.720 Japari Park is divided into several Areas based on different environments.
00:42.720 00:46.980 Each Area displays animals and plants native to its climate.
00:47.230 00:50.070 First, the park is broadly divided into five climate zones.
00:50.320 00:52.480 The creatures in the park are called "Friends,"
00:52.480 00:54.930 and they are animals or their vestiges...
01:02.810 01:05.580 Ahem. Testing, testing.
01:05.580 01:06.750 Huh?
01:06.750 01:08.650 Testing, testing.
01:08.650 01:11.750 Can you hear me now? This is the Savanna Area.
01:19.860 01:21.470 Fell asleep, huh?
01:21.870 01:27.010 You've had a long day, Bag-chan. It must have worn you out.
01:29.080 01:33.650 That really surprised me. I never knew you could talk, Boss.
01:34.300 01:38.030 You have a funny voice, huh?
01:40.050 01:42.730 I bet everybody would love to talk to you.
01:42.730 01:44.940 How come you've never talked before?
01:47.960 01:50.210 Come on, say something!
03:25.570 03:27.510 Where am I?
03:32.780 03:35.020 Please don't eat me!
03:35.020 03:36.900 Come on, I won't eat you!
03:37.950 03:38.790 Good morning!
03:38.790 03:42.250 S-Sorry, Serval-chan. Good morning.
03:42.250 03:44.250 You fell asleep on us yesterday.
03:44.250 03:46.440 Huh? Did I?
03:46.440 03:47.780 Yesterday...
03:47.780 03:51.540 Good morning, Bag. Shall we depart?
03:52.540 03:54.040 You talked again!
04:02.270 04:06.630 To confirm, your destination is the Japari Library, correct?
04:07.780 04:12.380 Yes. I'd like to look up what kind of animal I am.
04:13.640 04:15.450 And I'm the chaperone!
04:15.450 04:20.480 Understood. Searching for a route to the library.
04:28.860 04:32.600 Japari Library is in the Forest Area.
04:32.600 04:35.140 You will pass through three Areas on the way.
04:35.140 04:40.180 However, it is a very long distance. Walking is not recommended.
04:41.450 04:43.630 Let's take the Japari Bus.
04:44.050 04:48.140 The closest bus is next to the Unin Bridge.
04:49.930 04:50.830 A bus?
04:50.830 04:52.810 What's a bus?
04:52.810 04:55.440 A bus is a type of vehicle.
04:55.440 04:59.120 The Japari Bus makes touring this large park a cinch.
04:59.120 05:00.730 Wow...
05:00.730 05:05.240 I recommend a scenic walk through the jungle until we reach the bus.
05:05.240 05:07.000 Is that acceptable?
05:07.000 05:08.070 Yes!
05:08.070 05:11.180 I will now begin the tour.
05:11.180 05:14.340 The tour will last about two hours.
05:14.340 05:15.610 All right!
05:33.530 05:36.940 It's so different from the savanna.
05:37.280 05:41.570 The Jungle Area has a tropical rain forest climate.
05:42.370 05:45.270 There are also many animals.
05:47.130 05:51.720 You can hear all kinds of sounds. Maybe we'll meet more Friends today!
05:56.740 05:58.390 Found one!
05:58.390 06:00.710 Over there. Look, on the tree branch.
06:01.480 06:03.590 She looks like you, Serval-chan.
06:03.590 06:05.630 That is an ocelot.
06:03.980 06:08.970 Order: Carnivora Family: Felidae Genus: Leopardus
06:05.630 06:08.970 Like the serval, they belong to the cat family.
06:09.270 06:14.340 Because they are nocturnal, they rest in trees or in the brush during the daytime.
06:14.830 06:16.790 They are also excellent tree-climbers.
06:19.860 06:23.510 Lucky! I want to take a nap, too.
06:23.510 06:25.730 There's something over there, too.
06:28.390 06:32.690 A Malayan tapir. They have a unique black and white pattern.
06:33.530 06:41.750 Order: Perissodactyla Family: Tapiridae Genus: Tapirus
06:34.140 06:38.860 At nighttime, the white part stands out, making their outline vague.
06:38.860 06:40.900 This makes them difficult to spot.
06:42.210 06:44.050 What a strange pattern.
06:44.050 06:46.580 There are so many different kinds of Friends.
06:50.130 06:58.390 Order: Carnivora Family: Eupleridae Genus: Cryptoprocta
06:50.660 06:53.300 Huh? I don't recognize you.
06:53.880 06:58.390 Are you Serval, the serval?
06:58.390 07:00.890 You know me?
07:02.040 07:04.450 Of course. You're famous!
07:04.450 07:08.130 You know, the Savanna Area troublemaker!
07:08.130 07:10.570 I'm not a troublemaker!
07:10.890 07:12.350 I'm Fossa.
07:12.350 07:16.360 I live around here, but I go to the Savanna Area once in a while, too.
07:18.550 07:20.320 Long tail, isn't it?
07:21.230 07:22.270 Who's she?
07:22.270 07:26.940 She's Bag-chan. We going to the library to find out what kind of animal she is.
07:26.940 07:30.380 Wow, what a long trip. That sounds rough.
07:30.780 07:32.200 Take care, now.
07:32.200 07:33.270 Thanks!
07:33.270 07:35.050 Thank you very much.
07:37.210 07:39.730 She looked strong.
07:39.730 07:43.650 She was so big! And her tail...
07:45.440 07:49.660 I'm sorry. I danced right into you.
07:45.440 07:51.990 Order: Proboscidea Family: Elephantidae Genus: Elephas
07:49.660 07:51.990 O-Oh, no! I'm the one who bumped into you.
07:52.330 07:55.020 The sunlight filtering through the foliage here is beautiful, isn't it?
07:55.020 07:57.950 Dancing puts me in such a good mood.
07:58.660 08:00.610 She's so big.
08:00.610 08:03.450 The Indian elephant is a subspecies of Asian elephant.
08:03.450 08:07.330 Along with the African elephant, it is the largest land animal.
08:07.880 08:09.120 Bye, now.
08:09.120 08:10.180 See you again!
08:10.180 08:11.210 Goodbye.
08:13.630 08:16.110 That was an even bigger Friend.
08:16.110 08:17.800 And kinda showy, too.
08:17.800 08:20.110 Oh, there's someone else.
08:20.110 08:22.290 What are you doing?
08:23.230 08:27.110 Order: Artiodactyla Family: Cervidae Genus: Axis
08:23.230 08:27.110 Licking this dirt is good for you.
08:27.860 08:31.150 It's something about the... "salt"?
08:31.940 08:33.490 Why don't you two try it?
08:33.900 08:35.510 Huh? Really?
08:35.510 08:38.650 Um, maybe another day.
08:41.660 08:42.900 I'm King Cobra.
08:41.660 08:45.140 Order: Squamata Family: Elapidae Genus: Ophiophagus
08:42.900 08:45.140 What is it? Need a favor?
08:46.420 08:49.190 Order: Pilosa Family: Myrmecophagidae Genus: Tamandua
08:46.420 08:49.190 Wh-What do you want? Go away!
08:50.460 08:51.110 I'm Peafowl.
08:51.110 08:53.320 I'm Tasmanian Devil!
08:51.270 08:53.530 Order: Dasyuromorphia Family: Dasyuridae Genus: Sarcophilus
08:53.320 08:55.320 Whoa, you scared me!
08:53.650 08:54.880 Order: Squamata Family: Agamidae Genus: Chlamydosaurus
08:54.990 08:56.910 Order: Artiodactyla Family: Giraffidae Genus: Okapia
08:55.320 08:56.760 I'm Okapi!
08:58.190 09:01.020 Wow, there really are lots of Friends here.
09:01.020 09:02.340 Yeah, really.
09:03.480 09:07.820 But the heat here isn't quite like the heat in the savanna.
09:07.820 09:09.110 You're right.
09:09.110 09:13.990 The Jungle Area is constructed to be a tropical rainforest.
09:13.990 09:17.130 The treetops form a canopy layer.
09:17.620 09:22.490 There are also many kinds of flora that make use of other trees, like vines.
09:26.250 09:28.350 It's gotten thick.
09:31.290 09:33.340 Serval-chan!
09:34.740 09:38.030 Thanks. You're really dexterous, Bag-chan.
09:40.300 09:41.650 Boss!
09:40.650 09:42.290 Lucky-san!
09:54.030 09:57.000 Hey, Boss, are we going the right way?
09:57.000 09:59.480 The path's getting smaller and smaller.
10:00.660 10:06.030 Leave it to me. The whole map of the park is in my head.
10:07.020 10:10.830 Once we exit this brush, the rest of the walk will be a breeze.
10:10.830 10:12.430 All right! Let's go!
10:24.620 10:25.540 Huh?
10:25.540 10:27.270 This is...
10:27.270 10:34.610 L... L-L-L-Leave it to... L-L...
10:30.190 10:31.370 Lucky-san?
10:30.190 10:31.370 Boss?
10:31.930 10:33.270 What's going on?
10:33.270 10:34.610 Where's the path?
10:36.520 10:38.300 Now what?
10:43.350 10:44.740 Made it!
10:45.280 10:46.610 Whee!
10:47.750 10:49.160 So fun!
10:57.300 10:58.590 So fun!
10:58.590 11:00.090 Hellooo!
11:00.090 11:00.760 Huh?
11:04.540 11:08.890 I'm Small-clawed Otter. Perfect day for sliding, isn't it?
11:04.550 11:08.890 Order: Carnivora Family: Mustelidae Genus: Amblonyx
11:09.250 11:11.350 Are you here to play, too?
11:11.350 11:15.870 Nope. We were walking, but the path disappeared here.
11:15.870 11:17.980 Do you know where it is, Otter?
11:17.980 11:21.250 I've never seen anyone come this way before.
11:21.250 11:23.950 It's been my playground for a long time.
11:24.410 11:27.900 Okay, one more slide!
11:27.900 11:29.210 Wait, wait!
11:29.210 11:32.280 Excuse me! We're looking for the Unin Bridge.
11:32.280 11:34.420 Do you happen to know anything about it?
11:35.310 11:39.340 Well, Jaguar-chan passes through here. Why don't you ask her for a ride there?
11:39.660 11:41.340 A ride?
11:41.340 11:44.750 That's tons of fun, too!
11:44.750 11:48.720 I mean, I can swim by myself, but I end up riding anyway.
11:48.720 11:51.520 When does this Jaguar pass through here?
11:51.520 11:55.400 I dunno. About twice a day?
11:55.400 11:57.970 You could sunbathe while you wait.
12:06.990 12:09.910 Whatever you're doing, it looks like fun! I wanna try it, too!
12:14.420 12:17.510 Fun, right? See, it's fun, right?
12:17.510 12:19.070 I can do this, too.
12:19.070 12:20.880 Oh, wow. You're so dexterous.
12:22.440 12:24.610 And then like this. Like this.
12:26.330 12:28.600 Yeah! You've got it, you've got it!
12:30.540 12:31.620 Wait, wait!
12:31.620 12:33.060 Let us on!
12:33.710 12:37.570 The otters are very curious, so they're quick to approach people.
12:33.710 13:02.940 Toubu Zoo: Kudou-oneesan (Saitama Prefecture)
12:37.570 12:40.520 Visitors will stretch their hands out toward the otters,
12:40.520 12:43.400 and the otters want to touch them.
12:43.400 12:48.100 The otters' paws are soft, so it's not as if they'll attack with claws.
12:48.100 12:53.520 They can dive all the way to the bottom of a river and are powerful divers,
12:53.520 12:56.310 so in the summertime, they mostly swim in the pool.
12:56.310 13:00.550 Then, when they want a nap, they'll dry themselves, take an afternoon nap,
13:00.550 13:03.090 and then go back in the pool again.
13:08.250 13:10.080 I've never done this before!
13:10.080 13:12.220 It's incredible.
13:14.850 13:17.980 Order: Carnivora Family: Felidae Genus: Panthera
13:15.470 13:17.980 You want to go to Unin Bridge, right?
13:18.370 13:20.430 Thanks! You're a big help!
13:20.430 13:22.720 When the path disappeared, we didn't know what to do.
13:22.720 13:26.220 The river changes shape in this area.
13:26.970 13:30.390 I'm sorry. Isn't this hard work?
13:30.390 13:33.410 I'm fine! Leave it to me.
13:33.410 13:37.310 The jaguar is unusual among cats in that it can swim.
13:37.310 13:38.620 That's right!
13:38.620 13:41.550 Wait, Boss, you can talk?
13:41.550 13:43.780 Is that why you do this job?
13:43.780 13:47.880 Yup, there were a lot of girls who needed to cross but couldn't.
13:47.880 13:50.760 Plus, the view from here is great.
13:50.760 13:52.990 Okay, we're going out into the main river!
13:55.860 13:58.700 It's big! It's so big!
13:58.700 14:00.980 Yeah, it's so wide!
14:01.540 14:03.670 That's the Unin Bridge!
14:05.540 14:07.670 There we go.
14:12.470 14:14.480 This way. This way.
14:14.480 14:16.040 It is just up ahead.
14:20.550 14:22.140 We did it!
14:24.540 14:26.150 This is a bus?
14:26.990 14:29.100 Cool! Cool!
14:30.830 14:32.370 It's so big.
14:32.370 14:34.880 Hey, Boss, can I touch it? I can touch it, right?
14:34.880 14:36.440 I want to ride on top of it!
14:36.440 14:39.640 Can I? Yay, bus, bus!
14:40.250 14:41.530 It feels so strange.
14:41.530 14:43.660 Yahoo! I'm on top of the bus!
14:43.660 14:44.650 Sniff, sniff.
14:44.650 14:46.330 The driver's seat is missing.
14:46.330 14:48.610 What? Driver's seat?
14:48.610 14:52.290 Searching for driver's seat. Searching for driver's seat.
14:52.290 14:56.040 There should also be a frame here.
14:56.040 14:59.770 Searching for driver's seat. Searching for driver's seat.
14:56.820 14:59.770 Wait, if it doesn't have that, is it not a bus?
15:00.810 15:06.050 I've seen something similar to this on the other bank. Maybe that's it?
15:09.670 15:10.610 Wonderful.
15:10.610 15:12.520 This is it. This is it.
15:12.520 15:14.260 Oh, glad I could help!
15:15.270 15:16.740 What a funny shape!
15:16.740 15:19.240 So this is what it is.
15:19.240 15:21.350 This attaches to the other part, huh?
15:21.930 15:27.110 But how do we move this across the river?
15:29.400 15:31.150 Stare...
15:31.150 15:32.100 Really?
15:39.320 15:42.770 This won't work. It's too heavy.
15:42.770 15:47.010 Serval, aren't you're good at jumping? Can't you carry it over?
15:51.860 15:55.130 How about we all try holding it up while we swim over?
15:55.130 15:57.240 Whee! It's sinking!
15:57.240 15:59.350 Huh? Bag-chan?
15:59.350 16:01.110 Where's Bag-chan?!
16:06.810 16:09.940 This is a little too much for us.
16:10.410 16:13.020 I've never carried anything this heavy before.
16:13.020 16:15.610 I'm so sorry. Because of me...
16:15.610 16:17.450 It's okay. Let's do our best.
16:17.450 16:19.950 I want to see the completed bus, too.
16:20.650 16:24.750 Hmm... But the river's just too big.
16:24.750 16:26.930 There's a lot of water right now.
16:26.930 16:30.920 Huh? Hey, where does that road go?
16:30.920 16:35.880 Um, to the Desert Area. On this side, it goes to the Savanna Area.
16:35.880 16:38.830 Wow. It looks like a lot of girls pass through here.
16:38.830 16:42.530 Yeah, there are so many girls who want to cross. It's hard work.
16:42.530 16:46.420 I wonder what everyone did before you came along, Jaguar.
16:46.420 16:50.620 Not sure... Maybe they had the girls who could swim carry them on their backs?
16:51.410 16:54.050 Um, I have an idea.
16:54.050 16:55.920 Huh? What is it?
16:55.920 16:58.180 It might be a lot of work, though...
16:58.860 16:59.810 I don't mind.
16:59.810 17:01.930 Sounds fun. I'm in!
17:15.580 17:20.170 First, Jaguar-san, can you take this to Otter-san?
17:20.170 17:21.600 Gotcha.
17:21.600 17:24.600 Jaguar! Hurry, hurry!
17:27.880 17:29.770 Got it, Bag!
17:30.260 17:36.090 Next, can you loop it behind the pole and hand it back to Jaguar-san?
17:36.740 17:38.110 Okay!
17:38.870 17:42.230 This is fun! It's weird! It's so weird!
17:42.230 17:43.710 Here, Jaguar.
17:44.260 17:45.810 Roger that.
17:48.760 17:49.670 Here.
17:50.170 17:52.170 Thank you.
17:52.830 17:54.610 What next?
17:54.610 17:56.310 We pull this.
18:06.350 18:08.190 It's moving! It's moving!
18:20.410 18:25.250 Otter-san, could you hook that loop over the post?
18:26.870 18:30.130 So heavy, but so interesting!
18:37.640 18:40.850 What is this? What is it, what is it?
18:40.850 18:43.240 Wow. How curious.
18:43.240 18:46.690 Could I ask you to do this three more times?
18:46.690 18:48.100 Yeah!
18:58.440 19:01.120 Okay, I'd like to test it.
19:01.120 19:03.580 Me, me! I wanna go!
19:04.030 19:06.490 Okay, here goes!
19:16.200 19:18.250 Me next! I wanna do it!
19:18.250 19:20.620 That's incredible. It's like magic.
19:20.620 19:24.230 Isn't it? Bag-chan is really amazing!
19:25.690 19:28.110 Okay, it's time for the real thing.
19:51.330 19:53.780 Let's go!
19:59.020 20:00.770 We did it!
20:04.980 20:07.720 Boss, this should do it, right?
20:07.720 20:10.840 Okay, here goes! One, two...
20:15.190 20:16.250 It's a bus!
20:16.250 20:18.860 Did we make a bus? Is it a bus now?
20:18.860 20:20.610 I... have no idea.
20:20.610 20:22.450 Do we get on? Do we get on?
20:21.020 20:22.820 What's Boss doing?
20:22.820 20:25.140 Lucky-san, what are you doing?
20:25.140 20:27.340 I have no idea what's going to happen.
20:41.050 20:41.980 Huh?
20:43.170 20:44.840 It went quiet.
20:44.840 20:45.800 Yeah.
20:45.800 20:47.780 Huh? Did it die?
20:47.780 20:49.330 Is the bus dead?!
20:49.330 20:51.140 Maybe it's just asleep?
20:52.230 20:55.620 I see. It seems that the battery is dead.
20:56.270 20:58.270 Huh? What's a battery?
20:59.170 21:01.110 This is a battery.
21:02.200 21:04.700 It seems to be empty now.
21:05.610 21:09.580 I don't really get it. Does that mean we can't play?
21:09.580 21:12.790 Is there any way we can charge it?
21:13.810 21:19.310 It can be charged on the roof of Japari Café, at the top of the mountain over there.
21:33.390 21:36.950 H-How are we going to get up there?
21:39.950 21:40.690 Huh?
23:11.840 23:41.290 Tennouji Zoo: Nakayama-oniisan (Osaka)
23:11.940 23:16.570 Jaguars have large faces, thick necks, short legs,
23:16.570 23:20.980 and sturdy bodies that are sort of stout and plump.
23:20.980 23:24.670 They need to climb trees and swim,
23:24.670 23:29.160 so they have bodies that let them hunt anywhere.
23:29.160 23:35.410 Leopards have round rosettes scattered on their fur,
23:35.410 23:41.440 but jaguars also have dots inside the rosettes.
23:41.880 23:43.320 PPP Preview!
23:43.320 23:45.760 This week, we'll introduce the alpaca.
23:45.760 23:46.720 Alpaca?
23:46.720 23:48.220 Apparently, they spit.
23:48.220 23:49.640 Does that mean they're attacking?
23:50.590 23:52.180 Is it marketing? Not marketing...
23:52.180 23:52.980 Marketing?
23:52.980 23:54.560 Marking!
23:54.560 23:56.410 Next time, "Mountain."
