兽娘动物园 第07集 第7集 贾巴利图书馆
00:01.410 00:02.520 "Human"?
00:02.520 00:06.820 Shoebill, do you know what species of animal she is?
00:06.820 00:09.640 I think she might be a "human."
00:09.640 00:13.520 I've only heard rumors, so I don't know much about them.
00:13.520 00:16.460 But I hear that, like you, they come up with lots of strange ideas,
00:16.460 00:18.590 and they're supposed to be very clever.
00:18.590 00:19.990 A human...
00:19.990 00:23.070 What kind of animal is that?
00:23.070 00:25.710 What do they look like? Do they have claws and fangs?
00:25.710 00:27.470 I don't know what they look like.
00:27.470 00:33.470 I just know that they're smart and know a lot, and can use and make different tools.
00:33.470 00:36.090 Does that ring any bells?
00:38.140 00:40.140 Not yet.
00:40.140 00:43.920 Which Area do they live in? We'd like to go there.
00:43.920 00:48.440 Where do they live? Does anybody know?
00:50.720 00:52.790 No one knows?
00:56.990 00:57.900 Bag-chan!
00:58.660 01:02.410 This is great! Now we only have to find out where "humans" live.
01:03.270 01:04.090 Yeah.
01:04.090 01:07.170 Maybe that's what you should ask at the library.
01:07.170 01:09.900 To get to the library, go into the Forest Area
01:09.900 01:12.510 and turn right at the second fork in the road.
01:12.510 01:14.260 Be careful where you turn.
01:14.260 01:15.010 Got it.
01:15.010 01:16.630 Thank you for your help.
01:16.630 01:20.150 Shoebill-chan, you were a big help, too. Thanks.
01:20.150 01:24.560 But why didn't you say what was on your mind sooner? We were pretty scared.
01:24.560 01:30.310 I don't mean to, but I always end up staring when I see a chance.
01:30.310 01:34.360 Oh, okay. Here I thought you were mad at us.
01:34.360 01:38.510 Sorry. I honestly want to chat with everyone more cheerfully.
01:38.510 01:41.740 I know it's not cute when I stay too quiet...
01:41.740 01:43.010 You really are scary!
01:43.010 01:44.410 Hey, that's mean!
01:44.660 01:46.440 See ya.
01:46.440 01:48.330 Take care now.
01:50.220 01:52.580 That was a pretty hectic Area.
01:52.580 01:56.130 I know. I never thought we'd end up in a battle.
01:56.130 01:58.530 But now we can get to the library!
01:58.530 01:59.470 Yeah.
01:59.470 02:04.430 I wonder what kind of habitat you live in? I can't wait to see.
02:04.430 02:09.390 Sorry in advance if it's a really dark or cold place.
02:09.390 02:12.690 I can see in the dark, so that's no big deal.
02:12.690 02:16.410 If it's cold, well, maybe I'll stop at the entrance.
02:16.410 02:18.110 Aww, that's mean!
03:55.500 03:57.180 There are so many trees.
03:57.180 04:00.130 It's pretty how the sunlight filters through them.
04:13.390 04:14.790 What's this thing?
04:14.790 04:18.020 Maybe there's something to the right.
04:18.020 04:20.010 Wanna check it out, since we've stopped already?
04:20.010 04:21.440 Yeah, let's.
04:21.440 04:22.570 Understood.
04:23.490 04:25.660 It goes pretty far.
04:25.660 04:27.030 Let's go, let's go!
04:27.030 04:27.570 Okay.
04:30.860 04:32.020 Got them.
04:32.020 04:33.760 We got them.
04:34.920 04:37.250 It's all winding.
04:44.050 04:46.190 It's kind of like a room.
04:46.190 04:48.300 Huh? I see something.
04:48.300 04:59.360 Question: A camel can drink 500 cups of water at a time. If True: Proceed right. If False: Froceed left.
04:49.430 04:50.830 What's this thing?
04:50.830 04:55.850 "A camel can drink 500 cups of water at a time."
04:55.850 04:59.360 "If true, proceed right. If false, proceed left."
04:59.360 05:02.480 Huh? Bag-chan, what are you saying?
05:02.480 05:04.840 Huh? That's what the writing says.
05:04.840 05:06.160 There's writing?
05:06.160 05:09.910 Question: A camel can drink 500 cups of water at a time. If True: Proceed right. If False: Froceed left.
05:06.160 05:09.910 Yeah. This word says "question."
05:09.910 05:13.890 "Word"? Oh, so you call this a word?
05:13.890 05:16.170 Bag-chan, you really are amazing.
05:16.620 05:18.670 Y-You think so?
05:18.670 05:22.480 I bet that's true, because the desert is really hot.
05:22.480 05:26.470 Are we supposed to go in the direction of the correct answer?
05:26.470 05:28.200 Then we go right.
05:28.750 05:31.310 Wait, Serval-chan!
05:33.720 05:36.810 Correct! Camels drink 80 liters at a time, and can drink up to 136 liters of water. They can even drink water with high salt concentration.
05:34.200 05:35.760 It says we were correct.
05:35.760 05:36.810 Awesome!
05:36.810 05:39.140 500 cups? Wow.
05:39.140 05:42.650 I can understand how they feel. Your throat gets so dry in the desert.
05:44.940 05:47.100 This is the next question.
05:47.100 05:48.160 There's another one.
05:48.160 05:50.120 Let's see...
05:50.120 05:53.110 "The water is stored in the camel's hump.
05:50.120 05:56.210 Question: The water is stored in the camel's hump. If True: Proceed right. If False: Proceed left.
05:53.110 05:56.210 If true, proceed right. If false, proceed left."
05:57.560 05:59.980 So that's why they can drink so much water!
05:59.980 06:02.310 Camels have humps?
06:02.310 06:03.960 Yup! I've heard about that.
06:04.360 06:06.010 We go this way, then!
06:10.140 06:11.110 Huh?
06:11.110 06:13.260 Isn't this...
06:13.260 06:18.640 Question: A camel can drink 500 cups of water at a time. If True: Proceed right. If False: Proceed left.
06:13.600 06:16.410 Serval-chan, this is the first room.
06:16.410 06:18.640 Huh? But why?
06:18.950 06:23.150 Maybe you end up back here if you choose the wrong answer.
06:23.150 06:26.110 Meow! I won't lose!
06:26.110 06:27.380 One more time!
06:28.290 06:30.810 Okay, this time, we'll go the other way.
06:34.200 06:39.540 Correct! Camels storing water in their humps is a myth. Actually, a camel's hump stores fat. Concentrating their body fat in one place as humps helps keep their bodies from getting too hot.
06:34.200 06:39.540 "Camels storing water in their humps is a myth. Actually..."
06:41.660 06:43.620 So the humps have nothing to do with that.
06:43.620 06:46.800 They actually help alleviate the heat, huh?
06:47.900 06:49.590 There's the next sign.
06:49.590 06:52.180 All right! Let's keep moving.
06:52.180 06:54.760 We were wrong?
06:55.010 06:56.240 We did it!
06:55.010 06:57.310 Correct!
06:56.240 06:57.550 Go, us!
06:57.550 06:59.060 Awesome!
06:57.560 06:59.060 Correct!
06:59.310 07:00.890 We were wrong?
07:01.150 07:02.810 No good?
07:03.060 07:04.900 It's the other way around?
07:08.360 07:12.220 I feel like we've walked a whole lot.
07:12.220 07:13.840 You said it.
07:14.660 07:17.390 Boss, can't you tell us the answer?
07:17.390 07:20.160 Lucky-san isn't saying anything.
07:20.160 07:24.420 Because we're inside an attraction. Do your best to answer them.
07:24.420 07:27.580 All right! This is...
07:28.580 07:31.230 Which way do you think, Bag-chan?
07:32.330 07:35.010 I think this one's true, maybe.
07:35.010 07:37.470 Okay! To the right!
07:44.480 07:47.830 It's bright and open here.
07:50.630 07:52.430 Is that the library?
07:53.130 07:54.410 It's incredible.
07:54.410 07:56.630 I see a big tree inside it.
07:56.630 08:00.950 Is the professor in there? Let's go check it out!
08:04.770 08:06.290 Serval-chan!
08:07.440 08:09.250 Huh? What happened?
08:09.250 08:12.690 Order: Strigiformes Family: Strigidae Genus: Ptilopsis
08:09.250 08:13.320 Good day. I am Professor Northern White-faced Owl.
08:13.320 08:16.090 Good day. I am her assistant, Eurasian Eagle Owl.
08:13.530 08:16.090 Order: Strigiformes Family: Strigidae Genus: Bubo
08:16.860 08:18.740 Hello. I'm Bag.
08:19.540 08:23.100 Where did you two come from? I didn't hear a thing!
08:23.100 08:26.730 For us, flying without making a sound is elementary.
08:26.730 08:29.840 You're the first Friends to make it this far.
08:29.840 08:31.940 We have high hopes for you.
08:31.940 08:34.980 We're the first? Awesome!
08:34.980 08:40.410 Huh? I thought lots of other Friends had come here to look things up.
08:40.410 08:44.870 If you take the road straight instead of the maze, you'd arrive over there.
08:45.230 08:47.670 Huh? What's with that?
08:47.670 08:52.090 The Friends who occasionally go in through the right generally get lost and leave.
08:52.090 08:53.570 We fell for it.
08:54.800 08:57.510 They're promising, aren't they, Professor?
08:57.510 09:02.020 Indeed, assistant. Today we will feast.
09:02.020 09:06.000 Anyway, we were hoping you could tell us what kind of animal Bag-chan is.
09:06.000 09:08.480 At the library, you answer questions, right?
09:08.480 09:09.910 That's elementary.
09:09.910 09:13.940 If you want us to answer your questions, you will cook for us.
09:14.250 09:15.780 Cook?
09:15.780 09:20.000 Cooking means to combine ingredients in such a way as
09:20.000 09:23.040 to create food dishes of different shapes and flavors.
09:23.040 09:24.160 It does.
09:24.160 09:27.490 Why not just eat Japari buns? They're delicious.
09:27.490 09:29.150 We're tired of eating them.
09:29.150 09:30.760 It is true that Japari buns
09:30.760 09:35.530 have the perfect balance of nutrients and fill our stomachs...
09:35.530 09:37.310 But we are food lovers.
09:37.310 09:42.970 Since we have these bodies now, we wish to eat things we can only eat in these forms.
09:42.970 09:48.320 Besides, using our brains means using energy. And since we are wise...
09:48.320 09:54.180 If we have no food, we might not be able to remember. And since we are wise...
09:54.180 09:55.610 Really?
09:55.610 09:58.960 Now, try to satisfy our stomachs.
09:58.960 10:01.570 Will you do it or not?
10:01.570 10:03.450 Sounds fun.
10:03.450 10:04.370 We'll do it!
10:04.370 10:05.750 Y-Yeah.
10:06.200 10:13.870 The distinctive long feathers over their eyes are called ear tufts.
10:06.390 10:35.670 Tobu Zoo, Kidokoro-oneesan (Saitama)
10:13.870 10:17.860 Owls like the Eurasian scops owl and the brown hawk-owl are relatively small,
10:17.860 10:22.500 while horned owls are relatively large. That's one way owl species are divided up.
10:22.500 10:26.700 Compared to other birds of prey like hawks, they're slow fliers.
10:26.700 10:29.790 Their hunting style is to attack prey after the prey comes close.
10:29.790 10:35.330 So I think of them as pretty laid-back for a bird of prey.
10:36.230 10:41.550 Scops owls can squeeze their bodies to disguise themselves as tree branches.
10:36.420 11:05.620 Ikefukurou Owl Café, Nakajima-oneesan (Tokyo)
10:41.550 10:45.490 They're gray in color, their plumage is glossy,
10:45.490 10:48.010 and they have ear tufts over their eyes.
10:48.010 10:50.820 It's cute how they have a mustache like an old man.
10:50.820 10:52.550 They're pretty expressive.
10:52.550 10:54.580 When they're annoyed, they'll make an annoyed face,
10:54.580 10:57.900 and when they find something interesting, their eyes will sparkle.
10:57.900 11:02.360 Each individual owl has their own likes and dislikes.
11:02.360 11:05.810 It's pretty fun when you notice the differences between them.
11:17.850 11:20.730 You may read about cooking here.
11:20.730 11:25.970 Since you were able to pass through the Quiz Forest, you must be able to read.
11:25.970 11:29.660 You should refer to the books and cook using the ingredients provided.
11:26.790 11:29.660 Eggplant and Spring Onion Tomato Sauce Stew
11:30.660 11:32.350 Your time begins now.
11:32.350 11:33.290 Huh?
11:34.330 11:39.410 If you can prepare a dish we find tasty before this sand runs out,
11:39.410 11:42.500 we'll tell you what kind of animal you are.
11:42.500 11:45.140 We'll also throw in a bonus prize.
11:45.140 11:47.040 Okay! I'm ready!
11:47.040 11:47.890 Yeah!
11:49.360 11:50.630 Think you can understand it?
11:50.630 11:55.040 Yeah. It says the dishes you can cook depend on the ingredients you have.
11:55.040 11:57.900 Then we should see what we have to work with first.
12:00.190 12:02.060 That's a lot!
12:03.200 12:06.470 Where did you get these ingredients?
12:06.470 12:09.720 We borrowed a teensy bit from the field where the ingredients
12:09.720 12:11.040 for Japari buns are grown.
12:11.040 12:12.410 A teensy-weensy bit.
12:12.410 12:16.420 Can't you just eat them like this?
12:16.420 12:19.730 It is not cooking until the ingredients have been prepared somehow.
12:19.730 12:24.590 We are not interested in unprepared food.
12:24.590 12:28.010 That sounds like a lot of work. Why would you do that?
12:28.010 12:32.960 We have to use what we have here, and it has to be simple...
12:32.960 12:34.600 Maybe this one?
12:34.600 12:35.730 Let me see!
12:38.400 12:40.800 Got it! What do we do first?
12:40.800 12:42.780 It says we start with...
12:42.780 12:47.190 She can read perfectly. She must be a human.
12:47.190 12:52.810 If she is a human, she's sure to be able to cook a dish for us. Drool...
12:52.810 12:57.350 Finally, we'll be able to taste cooking. Drool...
12:57.350 12:59.840 Huh? Did you just say "human"?
12:59.840 13:03.460 I haven't the foggiest idea what you're talking about.
13:03.460 13:08.470 We might remember once we've eaten a dish. Get cooking.
13:08.470 13:12.680 Excuse me, but it says we need something called a pot?
13:12.680 13:14.050 Glad you asked that.
13:14.050 13:15.060 Come with us.
13:17.980 13:20.190 You can use this place.
13:20.190 13:24.750 The Lucky Beasts seem to maintain it occasionally, so it can be used.
13:25.780 13:27.360 What is all this?
13:29.710 13:31.140 What do we do with this?
13:31.140 13:36.220 It says to put ingredients and water inside the pot and heat it to a boil.
13:36.220 13:37.620 Do we have a heat source?
13:37.620 13:40.020 Another excellent question.
13:40.020 13:41.050 Not bad.
13:41.050 13:45.050 We can't just hand over fire to you. You'll have to look into it yourselves.
13:45.050 13:47.670 I'll do some research and consider the options.
13:47.670 13:51.810 In the meantime, Serval-chan, can you chop these up?
13:53.640 13:57.310 Um... um...
13:58.760 14:01.940 Meow meow meow!
14:02.310 14:05.430 Not bad. You finally made yourself useful.
14:05.430 14:06.920 You are the chopper.
14:06.920 14:08.820 All right! I'll chop these all up!
14:11.360 14:16.550 All of these methods look kind of hard. You need tools or strength...
14:16.550 14:19.250 Maybe this one that uses wood?
14:22.990 14:25.770 Serval-chan, I'm back.
14:25.770 14:27.010 Whoa!
14:27.010 14:29.850 You chopped up so much. Thanks.
14:30.930 14:34.810 Next, we put this all in the pot...
14:34.810 14:37.270 Add water...
14:37.270 14:39.870 And now we heat it to a boil.
14:39.870 14:41.840 Oh, yeah! Did you find some fire?
14:41.840 14:44.060 Yes. You need fire.
14:44.060 14:45.860 You must obtain it.
14:46.560 14:49.400 I thought I'd try getting some like this.
14:49.400 14:54.280 We place the paper on the ground, in a place that gets good sunlight, and...
14:57.040 14:59.160 It's sparkling.
15:04.540 15:09.090 Now we move the fire to wood scraps and gradually add bigger pieces.
15:12.440 15:14.850 This should be a big enough fire to boil the...
15:15.660 15:16.390 Huh?
15:16.800 15:20.010 What are you all doing over there?
15:20.010 15:20.670 Well...
15:20.670 15:22.040 It's just...
15:22.040 15:23.690 It's kind of scary...
15:23.690 15:28.490 On medium heat, first warm up the ingredients, and then add spices.
15:28.490 15:31.660 Place the rice we prepared here.
15:31.660 15:36.360 Gradually increase the heat, and then simmer at the end.
15:37.490 15:41.410 Once it's done, put out the fire and set it aside for a bit to cool.
15:41.410 15:44.630 Serve it up with the rice, and...
15:46.910 15:48.330 It's ready!
15:51.250 15:54.210 Let us restate the rules.
15:54.210 15:57.440 If either of us approves of your dish, you pass,
15:57.440 16:00.140 and we'll tell you what kind of animal you are.
16:00.140 16:00.910 Now then...
16:00.910 16:02.310 It's time for the judging.
16:04.060 16:09.460 Then again, it looks quite frightful up close.
16:09.460 16:11.480 Is it supposed to look like this?
16:11.480 16:13.570 Yes, I think so.
16:17.290 16:20.870 Oh, you're supposed to use those tools to eat it.
16:20.870 16:22.470 Because it's hot.
16:22.470 16:25.190 Do you two really know all about cooking?
16:25.190 16:26.860 O-Of course!
16:26.860 16:29.500 We were testing you.
16:51.180 16:52.190 Spicy!
16:52.190 16:53.700 It's spicy!
16:53.700 16:57.190 What is this? Is it safe to eat?
16:57.190 16:58.790 Drink some water.
17:01.070 17:02.660 This is no good.
17:02.660 17:04.080 No good at all.
17:04.080 17:07.420 We can't tell you what kind of animal you are for this.
17:07.420 17:08.500 What?
17:08.500 17:09.890 You can't?
17:09.890 17:12.710 But we worked so hard to make it! Come on!
17:12.710 17:16.670 No. This isn't edible.
17:17.920 17:22.090 No. You must keep trying until we're satisfied.
17:22.090 17:25.570 Is this even food?
17:25.570 17:28.150 How can it have such a strong taste?
17:29.670 17:31.260 Hey, you're eating it!
17:31.260 17:32.570 This is so...
17:33.710 17:37.860 I don't know why... but I can't stop.
17:37.860 17:39.370 It's addicting.
17:40.090 17:43.290 So this is cooking!
17:51.750 17:53.760 You pass.
17:53.760 17:57.340 We'll tell you what you want to know, so give us seconds.
17:58.400 18:01.810 So, your tummies are full now, right? Tell us!
18:01.810 18:03.250 Very well.
18:03.250 18:04.970 You are...
18:13.010 18:14.440 ...a human!
18:17.900 18:21.900 Okay. Then Shoebill-chan was right.
18:21.900 18:22.660 Yeah.
18:22.660 18:24.880 They're not surprised.
18:24.880 18:28.710 This is when everyone usually gets impressed.
18:28.710 18:31.550 Can you tell us more about humans?
18:31.550 18:33.090 Very well.
18:33.090 18:36.250 Their identifying characteristics: they are bipedal.
18:36.250 18:40.370 They have a high capacity for communicating, learning, and more.
18:40.370 18:45.880 They are diverse and difficult to describe succinctly. A very unusual species.
18:45.880 18:48.450 They live in groups. They can move great distances.
18:48.450 18:51.330 They can throw. They're relatively large.
18:51.330 18:53.370 They have many interesting characteristics,
18:53.370 18:58.340 but we find their ability to make and use tools deeply fascinating.
18:58.340 19:03.220 In fact, the relics here in the park were all built by humans.
19:03.220 19:05.020 Wow.
19:05.020 19:07.610 But they look a little like us Friends, don't they?
19:07.610 19:08.890 That's a foregone conclusion.
19:08.890 19:13.880 We Friends are animals who were transformed into humans.
19:13.880 19:16.050 Do you feel like you know what you are now?
19:16.050 19:18.090 It hasn't really hit me yet.
19:18.090 19:21.230 This is great! Now that we know what kind of animal you are,
19:21.230 19:23.580 all we have to do is go to where the humans live.
19:23.580 19:26.850 Hey, Professor, where can you usually find humans in the park?
19:26.850 19:29.540 There aren't any. Not anymore.
19:29.540 19:32.530 The humans went extinct.
19:33.280 19:34.660 Extinct?
19:36.190 19:39.110 One day, they disappeared.
19:39.110 19:40.320 Why?
19:40.320 19:43.540 Either they couldn't live here...
19:43.540 19:48.580 ...or they're still here, but somewhere we don't know about.
19:48.580 19:50.870 Then we need to find the place.
19:50.870 19:54.730 Whatever the case, you should go to an Area with an environment suitable for humans.
19:54.730 19:59.130 Living in an Area that isn't right for you will shorten your lifespan.
19:59.130 20:02.090 And one more thing. Near the humans—
20:02.090 20:05.890 Oh, yeah! You said you'd give us a bonus prize, right? What is it?
20:06.830 20:08.180 Concert tickets.
20:08.180 20:12.370 PPP Comeback Concert tickets are hot items, and impossible to get just anywhere.
20:12.370 20:14.900 These ones even get you VIP treatment and handshakes.
20:14.900 20:16.420 Also, this.
20:16.420 20:19.570 PPP? And what's that?
20:19.570 20:23.800 Oh, wow! We get to see PPP?!
20:24.380 20:27.710 Oh, they're something called idols, and I've heard they dance and sing,
20:27.710 20:29.240 and they're supposed to be amazing.
20:29.240 20:31.790 We can really have these?
20:31.790 20:33.190 They were given to us
20:33.190 20:35.820 as thanks for lending our intelligence to help with their management.
20:35.820 20:41.130 But we aren't too keen on noisiness, so you can have them.
20:43.880 20:47.420 I'm glad we got to eat cooking for the first time.
20:47.420 20:48.890 I feel so satisfied.
20:48.890 20:52.390 Wait, then how did the other Friends get you to answer questions?
20:52.390 20:54.820 We just answered them.
20:54.820 20:55.730 Huh?!
20:55.730 21:00.130 We made you cook because you read your way through the Quiz Forest.
21:00.130 21:02.030 I'm stuffed.
21:02.030 21:03.010 Bye now!
21:03.010 21:04.700 Thank you!
21:04.700 21:09.910 Bag, you should know that Ceruleans used to often be found near humans.
21:09.910 21:12.050 Be careful on the road.
21:12.050 21:12.760 Huh?!
21:12.760 21:15.000 No worries! I'll take care of them.
21:15.000 21:17.450 Serval's jokes aside...
21:17.450 21:18.500 I'm not joking!
21:18.500 21:21.590 If you see any, run away immediately.
21:21.590 21:25.030 A good life comes from eating good food.
21:25.030 21:28.970 Also, once you locate the humans, be sure to come visit again.
21:28.970 21:31.760 We'll be waiting for seconds.
21:32.270 21:33.150 You got it!
23:04.020 23:06.890 This really is a lovely home.
23:06.890 23:10.110 If you'd like, you should stay the night.
23:10.110 23:12.450 I want to hear what happened next!
23:12.450 23:17.970 Then, when I found the hat in the savanna—listen to this—
23:17.970 23:20.080 Boss started talking!
23:20.880 23:24.630 I saw Boss talking, too.
23:24.630 23:25.820 What?!
23:25.820 23:28.460 What did he say to you, Raccoon-san?
23:28.460 23:31.280 Um, what was it again, Fennec?
23:31.280 23:39.200 He said that something important to the Friends and us is underground.
23:39.200 23:41.440 And as for where...
23:41.880 23:43.220 PPP Preview!
23:43.220 23:45.130 This week we're learning about the margay.
23:45.130 23:47.040 They imitate the calls of other animals.
23:47.040 23:48.720 Really? Wow!
23:47.640 23:48.720 They imitate?
23:48.720 23:49.740 Okay, Gen, you're up.
23:49.740 23:50.690 Go ahead.
23:50.690 23:52.570 Imitation of a margay.
23:53.670 23:54.580 That's your guess?
23:54.580 23:56.410 Next time: "PPP Live."
