兽娘动物园 第09集 第9集 雪山地区
00:04.480 00:07.520 I should've been... more careful...
00:08.170 00:12.320 I just wanted to... swim in a real ocean...
00:12.810 00:15.910 Serval-chan... Are you okay?
00:16.760 00:20.320 I guess this is where my journey ends...
00:21.700 00:23.710 Serval-chan!
00:24.320 00:25.470 Why...
00:26.860 00:29.330 Why did it have to come to this?
02:14.980 02:17.290 We will now be passing through the mountains.
02:19.980 02:21.920 Looks cold...
02:21.920 02:24.640 There is a hot spring on the other side.
02:24.800 02:26.380 A hot spring?
02:26.380 02:29.370 It is a place where you can take a dip in hot water.
02:29.370 02:33.290 How, how? I'm so excited!
02:33.290 02:36.470 You will also see ice-covered trees along the way.
02:36.470 02:38.490 Would you like to make a snow hut, as well?
02:38.490 02:40.530 I'll make the hot spring our destination.
02:41.830 02:43.550 This sounds like fun.
02:43.550 02:45.620 A tour through the snowy mountains!
02:45.620 02:48.050 Let's go!
02:50.530 02:53.880 Boss? We're stuck again?
02:53.880 02:59.030 I see. Snow is slippery.
03:02.500 03:04.030 Wait one moment.
03:16.680 03:22.220 Woo-hoo! We're sliding right along! Now we can drive as much as we want.
03:27.510 03:32.270 The Snowy Mountains Area is a polar climate.
03:32.270 03:35.770 The temperature is just high enough for ice-covered trees.
03:35.770 03:39.490 The majority are coniferous needle-leaved trees, which tolerate the cold well.
03:39.490 03:44.220 This area also has a large amount of precipitation, so there is a lot of snow.
03:44.220 03:48.160 I've never seen snow before! I wanna touch it!
03:48.980 03:50.620 I'd like to, also.
03:50.620 03:51.810 Understood.
04:03.290 04:04.220 Brr!
04:06.220 04:08.530 It's cold. It's so cold!
04:08.530 04:09.940 How mysterious.
04:13.010 04:14.600 It's pretty, huh?
04:20.390 04:22.780 What's that white stuff over there?
04:23.280 04:24.820 Oh, I see it.
04:24.820 04:26.980 That is the source of the spring.
04:26.980 04:28.580 The hot water coming from it
04:28.580 04:31.430 goes all the way down to the hot spring at the bottom of the mountain.
04:31.430 04:32.500 Hot water?
04:32.500 04:35.640 How can water be hot? I wanna see!
04:35.640 04:37.710 Let's go take a look.
04:37.710 04:40.070 Snowy Mountain Course
04:42.690 04:44.640 Everything's covered in white.
04:44.640 04:48.750 Are there animals living here, too?
04:48.750 04:51.270 Yes, the snowy mountains also have animals.
04:51.270 04:54.840 Many of them are white, which camouflages them in the snow.
04:54.840 04:57.210 They may be difficult to spot.
04:57.210 05:02.690 Many of the animals have long fur for survival in the cold temperatures.
05:03.010 05:06.780 Now that you mention it, I'm kind of cold.
05:06.780 05:11.280 And will this weather hold?
05:11.280 05:14.570 We'll be fine! It won't take long to check out the hot spring.
05:14.570 05:16.180 I can't wait!
05:22.040 05:26.440 How did the weather change so quickly? I can't see past it.
05:27.160 05:31.180 What do we do? Lucky-san froze up, too.
05:34.280 05:37.740 I've never been anywhere this cold before.
05:37.740 05:39.830 I feel like I'm frozen, too.
05:40.460 05:42.390 Y-Yeah...
05:46.950 05:50.570 Serval-chan, let's make that thing he mentioned.
06:01.160 06:02.320 It's done!
06:05.600 06:07.440 We'll wait out the storm in here.
06:07.440 06:10.310 Amazing! How'd you know?
06:10.310 06:13.200 When I squeezed some snow earlier, it stuck together.
06:13.200 06:15.620 That's why I thought this might work, too.
06:15.620 06:19.230 Kaban-chan, you're so observant.
06:19.780 06:23.360 I feel a lot warmer just being out of that wind.
06:23.360 06:25.230 Thank goodness.
06:30.930 06:32.500 It's not stopping.
06:32.500 06:33.300 Yeah...
06:37.170 06:39.040 I can hear it from there.
06:39.040 06:40.750 Yeah. Right there.
06:40.750 06:42.740 Here? Okay, got it.
06:46.930 06:48.880 Please don't eat me!
06:48.880 06:51.050 There's a bunch of them!
06:54.850 06:57.270 Order: Carnivora Family: Canidae Genus: Vulpes
06:55.340 06:57.270 I'm Silver Fox.
06:57.680 06:59.680 She's Ezo Red Fox.
07:00.300 07:01.620 Hi.
07:02.150 07:05.930 We took a peek in here because she said she heard something.
07:05.930 07:08.110 Strange thing you've made here.
07:08.110 07:11.080 We were pretty startled, too.
07:11.080 07:14.070 You popped your head in so suddenly...
07:14.390 07:18.160 That's how we foxes hunt our prey.
07:18.160 07:21.090 We listen for prey in the snow.
07:21.090 07:24.010 And once we have a mark, we jump,
07:24.010 07:25.790 and thrust our faces into the snow.
07:25.790 07:29.220 Nuh-uh. We sense their magnetic field.
07:29.220 07:32.040 There you go talking nonsense again.
07:32.040 07:34.890 So, what are you two doing here?
07:34.890 07:36.830 We were on our way to see the hot spring.
07:36.830 07:38.930 That's why you came all the way out here?
07:38.930 07:41.490 You don't look like animals who live in the snow to me.
07:41.490 07:44.200 You're right. We're really cold.
07:44.200 07:46.570 Underestimating the cold will get you killed.
07:47.120 07:48.630 You helpless things...
07:49.060 07:50.780 Here, hold these.
07:52.020 07:55.240 It's so warm. What is this?
07:56.350 07:58.290 It's nice and warm.
07:58.290 08:01.300 Silver Fox, I want one, too.
08:01.300 08:04.070 Doesn't your fur keep you warm enough?
08:04.070 08:09.790 Home's warmer than this, but you brought me all the way out here...
08:09.790 08:14.510 We only came out in this weather because you insisted we fix it fast.
08:14.510 08:16.430 Sounds like you're best friends.
08:16.430 08:18.390 What did you come out for?
08:18.390 08:21.770 The equipment we always use doesn't seem to be working.
08:21.770 08:23.870 We're on our way to check things out.
08:24.980 08:27.020 Looks like the storm's died down.
08:27.020 08:29.530 Shall we be on our way, then?
08:30.350 08:34.070 I like it in here. I want to stay and laze around.
08:34.070 08:36.340 Seriously, you...
08:41.120 08:44.120 We got to take a break, so that worked out.
08:44.120 08:46.960 That was a pretty interesting thing you made.
08:50.700 08:54.050 Where will you two go after you see the hot spring?
08:54.800 08:57.660 We're on our way to the harbor!
08:57.660 09:02.310 We were talking about stopping at a "hot spring" at the base of the mountain.
09:03.270 09:08.010 That's where we came from. We can take you along on the way back.
09:10.010 09:12.190 What an incredible color.
09:12.190 09:15.460 It smells strange, too.
09:20.520 09:23.330 Something's shooting out of the ground!
09:25.000 09:27.170 I know what it is!
09:27.170 09:28.790 What is it?
09:29.110 09:32.810 There are waves, and it's warm, and you can swim in it...
09:34.090 09:35.920 This is the ocean!
09:37.310 09:38.390 No, it's not.
09:38.390 09:40.360 This isn't the ocean.
09:40.360 09:42.310 Aww!
10:04.710 10:06.410 It's warm!
10:06.720 10:07.870 Really?
10:07.870 10:10.150 That's because the source is really close.
10:10.150 10:14.680 Wait... if I went in this, It would feel great, wouldn't it?
10:19.180 10:21.590 That one's regular old cold water.
10:23.690 10:25.720 Serval-chan!
10:26.510 10:29.210 I should've been more careful.
10:29.210 10:30.810 Why...
10:30.810 10:32.770 Why did it have to come to this?
10:32.770 10:35.730 Enjoy the ocean for me, too, okay?
10:35.730 10:37.300 Strange girls...
10:37.300 10:40.660 There's a footbath. You should warm up there.
10:43.230 10:45.230 It feels so nice!
10:46.580 10:50.350 This is amazing! A new experience!
10:50.350 10:55.920 It's great. Are you two going to join us?
10:55.920 10:58.140 We'll use the hot spring later.
10:58.140 11:02.090 First, Red Fox, do you have any ideas?
11:03.100 11:06.720 Something feels strange over there, maybe...
11:06.720 11:09.030 The extractor?
11:10.370 11:17.670 The fox has keen eyesight and a very good sense of smell.
11:10.500 11:39.780 St-Félicien Zoo, Christine-oneesan (Canada)
11:17.670 11:25.390 They'll pick up on the sounds of mice and other small prey under the snow,
11:25.390 11:33.100 head for the tunnel openings their prey made,
11:33.100 11:39.970 and jump into the snow to catch them.
11:40.360 11:45.960 There are two main types of foxes, the Arctic fox and the red fox.
11:40.490 12:09.850 Miyagi Zao Fox Village, Satou-oneesan (Miyagi)
11:45.960 11:49.330 The silver fox is a mutation of the red fox.
11:49.330 11:54.830 Foxes are black at birth, and their fur will change to red or black,
11:54.830 11:58.570 but silver foxes turn to a silvery gray-black mixture.
11:58.570 12:00.720 It's not as if, between red and silver foxes,
12:00.720 12:03.800 one type is more docile and the other stronger or anything.
12:03.800 12:05.890 A fox with docile parents will be docile,
12:05.890 12:10.000 and a fox with stubborn parents will be stubborn, the same as with people.
12:10.000 12:13.180 Something smells good.
12:13.180 12:20.530 Anyway, we don't have an exact location, but we want to go into the mountain...
12:20.530 12:23.420 That's a sacred place.
12:23.420 12:25.190 You cannot enter it.
12:25.190 12:26.550 Aww!
12:26.550 12:28.100 Aww...
12:28.100 12:32.160 Intriguing. Could this be...
12:32.160 12:35.430 Could this be a chance to find out the location of the four gods?
12:35.430 12:38.470 Perhaps we should allow them to continue their chase.
12:38.470 12:39.440 Indeed.
12:45.910 12:49.990 I thought so. The sulfur jammed it up.
12:50.380 12:53.530 It's been a while since I've seen this much.
12:53.530 12:57.630 When the sulfur deposits are big, there are more Ceruleans too, right?
12:57.630 13:00.590 Do you have to say such ominous things?
13:13.060 13:18.160 Serval-chan, do you think this is another "attraction"?
13:18.160 13:18.900 Huh?
13:24.150 13:30.470 Wow, who knew I'd find a hot spring on a Cerulean check?
13:33.340 13:36.670 I-I mean... Ahem.
13:36.670 13:41.600 Judging from yesterday's incident, the Ceruleans are stealing Sandstar.
13:41.600 13:45.120 Or rather, I believe they may be eating it.
13:45.120 13:48.530 On the off-chance that they eat any Friends,
13:48.530 13:51.930 the skills and traits they received from the Sandstar might be lost.
13:51.930 13:55.120 They might return to their original animal forms, or even be wiped out.
13:55.120 13:57.040 There may be any number of effects.
13:57.040 13:59.350 This is all still in the realm of prediction, but...
14:00.580 14:04.460 I can't let them threaten those darling Friends!
14:04.460 14:07.200 I'll do whatever it takes to find the cause of this.
14:07.200 14:09.930 Sounds like someone who really cares about Friends.
14:09.930 14:14.110 I wonder what she's like. Where could she be right now?
14:14.110 14:16.480 Mirai-san! Look, look!
14:16.480 14:18.720 Is this the ocean?!
14:19.290 14:21.630 That's not the ocean!
14:22.110 14:23.510 "Mirai-san"...
14:24.620 14:26.130 That voice...
14:33.570 14:36.590 All right. Mission accomplished.
14:36.590 14:38.890 And the hot spring will be back to normal, too.
14:39.650 14:41.390 There's so much!
14:49.090 14:51.260 The mountain's so close!
14:51.260 14:53.740 The mountain the Sandstar comes from?
14:53.740 14:57.620 There are lots of stories about that mountain.
14:57.620 14:59.580 I'd like to see it for myself.
14:59.580 15:03.890 Do you know what's happening with that mountain, Silver Fox?
15:03.890 15:07.920 I haven't been there yet. It's in another Area, after all.
15:07.920 15:10.490 Not to mention it's a sacred place.
15:10.490 15:12.840 You need the professor's permission to go in.
15:15.210 15:18.140 Red Fox-san? What is it?
15:26.100 15:27.280 Those are...
15:27.280 15:30.070 Aren't those Ceruleans?
15:42.230 15:44.560 A-Are they coming this way?
15:44.560 15:48.160 Th-There are too many to fight. Let's run!
15:48.160 15:51.520 They're too fast. Even if we run, they'll overtake us.
15:51.520 15:54.050 We need to hide, or find a high place.
15:54.830 15:58.350 But where? There's nowhere to hide!
15:58.870 16:02.410 What'll we do? What can we do?
16:02.950 16:07.770 I'll never be able to play video games again? Disappointing...
16:12.770 16:14.490 Kaban-chan will take care of it!
16:14.490 16:17.560 She always comes up with good ideas at times like this.
16:18.800 16:20.190 Um...
16:29.100 16:30.430 Like this?
16:30.430 16:33.010 Yes. Thank you.
16:33.400 16:35.190 Okay, I'll push. Everybody in!
16:44.270 16:45.780 They're almost on us!
17:08.180 17:11.640 We're so fast! We can escape now!
17:12.370 17:15.090 If you lean, you can turn it a little.
17:15.430 17:19.440 Amazing, amazing! Sledding's fun!
17:22.830 17:27.850 Let's stop down there. Red Fox-san, Silver Fox-san, can we do it?
17:28.290 17:31.110 Leave it to me. I've honed my skill in video games.
17:31.110 17:33.140 Silver Fox, more to the right.
17:33.140 17:34.240 Like this?
17:55.120 17:58.310 Thank goodness. We made it safe and sound.
17:58.310 18:01.370 Let's wait until they're gone before we descend the mountain.
18:01.370 18:04.940 I'll get in touch with the hunters later, too.
18:11.780 18:13.540 We made it...
18:14.950 18:17.120 There's so much hot water.
18:17.880 18:19.980 The spring's here, too.
18:33.230 18:35.790 It's working. Yes!
18:36.590 18:39.250 What's this? It looks fun!
18:39.250 18:40.660 It's a video game.
18:40.660 18:42.800 Wow.
18:42.800 18:45.690 Red Fox, take a bath first.
18:45.690 18:49.970 I don't wanna. Let me play one level first.
18:49.970 18:52.190 One level first!
18:54.450 18:56.170 Nice and warm.
18:57.940 19:04.080 I was waiting. Thanks for bringing the hot water back.
18:57.940 19:07.270 Order: Rodentia Family: Caviidae Genus: Hydrochoerus
19:04.080 19:06.630 Hot springs are amazing.
19:07.540 19:11.320 I don't handle the cold well, so this was a huge help.
19:11.320 19:15.130 I found out today that I don't handle the cold well, either.
19:15.130 19:17.300 Hot springs are the best.
19:17.300 19:19.930 Hot springs are the best!
19:20.980 19:23.000 Can I get out now?
19:23.000 19:25.220 Not until you count to thirty.
19:26.670 19:29.220 Kaban-chan, aren't you getting in?
19:29.220 19:34.380 Um... Is it okay to go in with your clothes on?
19:34.380 19:37.010 I get the sense you should take them off first.
19:37.610 19:39.170 What are "clothes"?
19:39.710 19:40.360 Huh?
19:41.400 19:43.360 You know, these.
19:43.690 19:46.300 Huh?! They come off?!
19:46.300 19:47.700 Do mine, too?!
19:47.700 19:50.040 This is an incredible discovery!
19:50.670 19:52.590 Huh? Ah, um...
19:53.310 19:57.590 But you're not supposed to undress completely in front of people, either...
19:58.060 20:01.980 Wow. We're so smooth without clothes on.
20:01.980 20:04.000 Kaban-chan, take yours off, too!
20:08.310 20:11.310 The water's warmer this way...
20:16.060 20:17.540 Oh, yeah. You know our sled?
20:17.540 20:20.810 Supposedly there's a really big one at the harbor.
20:20.810 20:22.720 Wow! Really?
20:22.720 20:24.990 They say it can move over the water.
20:24.990 20:27.560 Why would anyone want to do something so scary?
20:28.910 20:31.430 Do you need a sled to go into the ocean?
20:31.430 20:34.750 Well, no, but... Can you swim?
20:34.750 20:37.500 Huh? Is the ocean that big?
20:41.940 20:46.900 They also say that the humans could move it. Maybe Kaban could.
20:46.900 20:49.760 Huh? Really?
20:49.760 20:52.610 I'm even more excited to get to the harbor.
20:54.060 20:55.230 Bye!
20:55.230 20:56.660 Thank you!
20:56.660 20:58.340 Take care!
20:58.340 20:59.570 Later.
21:01.430 21:04.420 Once we're through the mountain pass, we'll get to the ocean!
21:04.420 21:06.940 I can't wait to see if there are humans.
21:06.940 21:07.830 Yeah!
21:09.410 21:12.160 First, shall we rest for the night?
21:12.160 21:16.460 There's some lodging in a good location nearby today.
22:56.040 23:00.830 Yes, it was stolen on the same day as the most recent eruption!
23:00.830 23:04.710 Oh, that one. It was a pretty big one, wasn't it?
23:04.710 23:08.350 Seems like we'll have a lot of new Friends born this year.
23:08.350 23:11.490 When are they born again?
23:11.490 23:14.750 When Sandstar touches an animal, they become a Friend.
23:14.750 23:17.450 The same goes for a thing that was once an animal.
23:17.450 23:22.540 Yes! Just between us, Giant Penguin-san is that type of Friend.
23:22.540 23:24.590 Really?!
23:25.400 23:29.230 I always thought her bearing didn't match her appearance.
23:29.230 23:32.340 It sort of feels like she has a lot of history.
23:32.340 23:34.970 Was Kaban-san just born this year, too?
23:34.970 23:38.500 Oh? Kaban-san also came through here, did she?
23:38.500 23:41.390 It's like we have some kind of connection.
23:41.830 23:43.390 PPP Preview!
23:43.390 23:46.120 This week, we're learning about wolves.
23:46.120 23:50.310 An alpha male and alpha female pair are at the top of the hierarchy in a wolf pack.
23:50.310 23:52.290 What? That's totally cool!
23:52.290 23:54.460 Wolves are super cool!
23:54.460 23:56.370 Next time: "Lodge."
